Defibrillator Awareness Training
on Wednesday 8th June 2022
3:30pm to 4:30pm in Venezia Restaurant
and
7:45pm to 9:00pm in the Village Hall

No need to book, just turn up!

Our defibrillator is model Zoll AED 3 (Automated External Defibrillator)

If someone has a sudden cardiac arrest and you are asked by the Emergency Services to use the defibrillator, they will talk you through how to use it. The defibrillator will ‘speak and display’ the instructions too. But if you would like to know how to use it before an emergency occurs then come along to one of these two training sessions, both on Wednesday 8th June 2022:

  • Session 1 - 3:30-4:30pm in Venezia restaurant
    or

  • Session 2 - 7:45-9:00pm in the village hall

There’s no need to book, just turn up at whichever session you can attend. But we will ask you to sign the attendees list. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refreshments so please bring your own if you wish.

Training will be given by The Community Heartbeat Trust (CHT), a charity which provides life saving defibrillators and skills to local communities and who installed the village defibrillator on the Venezia building (adjacent to the car park). Their awareness leaflet gives more details of what will be covered.

The debrillator was funded from subscriptions paid by USRA members who generously contribute monthly to support village projects and help maintain our lovely environment including the village hall, tennis courts, woodland walk and orchard.
