All residents are welcome to attend Parish Council meetings as observers. There will be a slot on every meeting agenda to give residents a chance to speak and ask questions. Venue is the Village Hall with meetings starting at 7:00pm although dates and times are subject to change.

This meeting’s agenda is deferred from 4th September and includes the usual open session, for members of the public to raise relevant matters with the USPC, in addition to a further session for residents to share their thoughts on the planning application submitted to Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) by The Rock Church & The 1st Bingham Scouts for change of use of the former Catalyst Church. Following these discussions, the USPC will submit a view to RBC who will make the decision on the application. Following the Rushcliffe BC planning meeting last week at which the change of use of the church was approved, Debbie Soloman (our Rushcliffe ward councillor) has kindly posted details of how residents can complain to Rushcliffe if they are disappointed with the conduct of the meeting, although it is not possible to appeal against the approval itself. Before the Parish Council can make any representations to Rushcliffe this needs to be agreed at a Parish Council meeting, so there will be a specially convened meeting on Monday 20 November starting at 7:00pm in the village hall to which members of the public are as usual invited.
